another continuation of OBS..
well second nite,spoke bout the land ex on da third day at the jetty,way cool,saw a heron perching at the plank in the still nite...wahh...den when we approached it flew away...
den played this a bing a bong thingy,tested out reflexes and spoke bout land ex and some stories bout clay...
did the pacing,mine was 74 steps in 100m,but the real magic is during the land ex...

Day 3

well,woke up upitched the tents in barely enuff light,went for breakfast in the campus,super good,there was fried beehoon and hotdog.....den did planning for the land ex,clay pointed out the checkpoints and we went preparing our haversacks and off we went..
first navigator was yijun and ani.first destination,aviation beacon....
we were told to reflect on our past life and wad we were to do after this camp,and i did,or i suppose,den had a walk round the beacon,clay said,life is never smooth-sailing,even the tracks ard the beacon have uneven edges,so if we were to face challenges,just walk ovr them....
well,the sky at the beacon was clear and slient wif afew of those daily flying stimulations

second navigator was me and seven,thought he did most of it...hahas...okay will cont nxt time.....

second day was camping at around camp 1,very bad area.stinky soil and tents but good thing was tt we didnt have to do outdoor cooking,supper was green bean soup and ppl were joking bout it being horse pee and goat shit...hahas..den the path to our tents were damn dark,not a single light in sight,so we suggested to tt we built a fireplace but the suggestion got rejected...

OBS is Fun BUT tiring

Day 1
assembled together and was kinda suprised when i saw bejamin in my group,chatted together and took our first grp fotos...cooll,den there was the teaching of knots and bends,kinda slow and didnt get them rite first time,but things went well when tent pitching starts,clay taught me personally to tie the doublt triangle thingy and the rabbit in the tree thingy...
den there was survival cooking,way too cool,had maggie noodles and sausages for the first nite,den ppl left all the SK to us,okay nvm den there were stray dogs looking for food,and supposedly i heard the noise of boars,but ppl chose to ignore,LOL,wad happned in the nit i dunnoo....LOL

Day 2
trekked to camp 1,damn bloody big!okay,kayaking lessons,went kinda fine,cos i got a 1 star partner!LOL....when paddling ard the area did capsize drill,and roy lost his spec poor thing,den carried canoe and washed it,cool to have freshwater on u after you get soaked in saltwater.den went lunching at the canteen,damn cool,good food finally...
den went climbing the high element in the afternoon,sheesh,regret now liao,shld have tried the highest....and we camped at a damn smelly spot where boars came,tts supposedly wad ppl say...LOL...FUN

i guess tdae is one of the memorable training sessions.maybe cos im gonna go obs
ok,discovered lots of hidden dragons todae...
afterall,st's expectations were quite high,he's not much of an admin person though,so i guess they were rite to put him as head of training
and sam showed his activeness,great...*claps*
and sherman was good,recommendation coming his way...



anyway,jason gonna be ic next wk,finally,1 week break...gotta enjoy throughly for tis obs.....gonna come back wif a new life,prefably wif more yong qi and be able to open myself up to ppl,talk more..

no briefing for them at all,everything's was like rushing
only 2 managed to scrap thru...

jason told me to take tis chance to backstab,but its kinda unfair
and ppl are telling me tt this world is full of backstabbers..so wad if you have done all the hardwork and someone else gains the merit...

replaced sherman,and was shocked tt the imt was so full of ppl,somemore raining still....

hope this will go smoothly,considering budgets from cadets and ncos alike..find that i didnt think bout others,so wad if i can afford a 20 plus polo,other ncos might not...
sigh..this sucks
and there's still the innovative programme

all heavy tasks,and its all carried by the few of us...when can everyone do these..

last day of hols,wasted didnt realli spend it well...

skl's gonna open again..and obs is 3 weeks away..awaiting.....

ncc traingins gonna be tougher,im serious bout this.

have prepared much,im gonna get it through wif the co if its necessary,and guys..cca aint a joke,ppl have 100 over man in their unit and wqads a bloody 30 over man to compare...

just back from SSC...
finnaly gotten my lanyard...its all worthwhile afterall....

the course was fun...sortof la
ppl get tekan until they wanna die..
some of the CLTS get emotional at times..provoking us wif ow bloody shittish we are,how sub standard we are...

its really wrenchiong,kek sim...
very emotional to me,bloody lanyard,costed alot of ppl's feelings...
at the end of the day,everyone is happy
although its just 3 days..there was bonding

had alot of fun on cadets nite
clts performed,we performed..everyone was happy

ppl get ooc,ppl get bloody sweaty,but in the end,its all worthwhile
